The business context

The work behind the product.

For a food business, the customer’s order is the beginning of an operating workflow. The product challenge was to connect a mobile storefront with the catalogue, inventory, fulfillment, and delivery work required to complete that order. As Speeddi’s technology partner and program director, I led that work across the customer experience and the teams running the business.

Product judgment

The decisions that shaped it.

01

Design the storefront and the operation together.

I set product scope across ordering, inventory, fulfillment, delivery, and rewards so the customer experience reflected the work the business needed to carry out behind it.

02

Give each workstream a clear owner.

Engineering, QA, catalogue, payments, logistics, web, and mobile delivery each needed direction. I connected their priorities through a shared release plan and led client communication and launch decisions.

03

Sequence integrations around the core journey.

I coordinated the GlobalPAY, WhatsApp, and Kwik workstreams alongside the live commerce experience, keeping each integration tied to a specific customer or fulfillment need.

The workflow

How the pieces connect.

  1. 01

    Discover and order

A mobile-first catalogue and ordering experience gives customers a direct route into the food business.

  2. 02

    Prepare the order

Order and inventory workflows connect the storefront to the team responsible for fulfillment.

  3. 03

    Coordinate delivery

Delivery and operating controls extend the product beyond checkout into the work of completing the order.

  4. 04

    Support the next purchase

Rewards and customer-facing features sit within the wider commerce experience, supporting an ongoing relationship with the business.
